Forceful Two Nights with YMC 6

NILAI: Along with another year, here comes another exciting event that has made a mark for 21st INTIMA Chinese Cultural Society. Youth Motivation Camp 6 aimed to motivate secondary school students from all over the country through various activities in just three days and two nights.

The theme for this year was Forceful Journey (洪荒之旅) — which also translates as prehistoric and antique. It was aimed at bringing campers back to the old ancient time without advanced technology and learning to be united as a team. They had to use all the points they earned during station games to buy food and cook a dish which judged by the organizing team.

There were over 200 students participated and some of them has joined for two to three years already. Most of them came from Batu Pahat, Kluang, Johor Bahru, Melaka, Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur and Nilai.

Sally Lai, the Organizing Chairperson of YMC 6 said she wanted to make the camp very unforgettable for all campers.

“I want them to enjoy whatever we prepared for them.” she said, emphasizing that committee members had put in a lot of effort into making the event happen, as well as the recruited facilitators and helpers.

Also, YMC 6 had invited the famous Astro news anchor Gan Jiang Han, to give a talk regarding the transformation of technology and his experiences in the media.

“Always have a Plan B.” he said when asked for advice by those who wanted to work in the media industry in the future.
