Every semester, INTIMA provides fellow INTIANs a chance to speak their mind to the management regarding campus facilities and services during Student Forum, held on 29th of March at RC-LTB.

Organised by the INTIMA student government, Student Forum brings together both students and various sectors of INTIs management team. The forum is divided into sessions from Security, Academics, Facilities and International Student Affairs.

Following the usual Forum discussion format, students were passed the microphone one by one to voice out their concern regarding each session. In turn, the questions would be answered by the panel of management staff.

The management staff who attended the forum includes representatives from each major sector, such as the facilities managements, student services managements and even the deans of each faculty.

“What I liked most about it was the conversations we had, it wasn’t just a one way thing, it was a conversation,” moderator of the forum, Nelson David, the 20th term INTIMA president said.

Giving his thoughts on the students voicing their concerns, Nelson said, “it was relaxed and that’s what we want, where you have students comfortable to ask questions. They have the freedom to share the ideas that they have. That’s the beauty of Student Forum.”

The Student Forum saw a great turnout, with many students attending and voicing out their thoughts. The forum ended with an open discussion for any final thoughts followed by a closing refreshment session.

Student Forum is held once every semester. To stay updated, follow the INTIMA Official Facebook Group to find out about the next one.
