I am pretty sure there are a lot of people out there who love to eat fried chicken and are hardcore fans of KFC, right? Guess what, Texas Chicken is now in Nilai and you can have even more options to choose from when it comes to fried chicken!
To be honest with you, I was over the moon when first heard about the news from a friend. I would not say I am the biggest fried chicken fan, but I do crave it once in awhile.

To my surprise, the fried chicken that served at Texas are relatively large compared to the smaller portion from KFC. The taste, however, was not on par.
The fried chicken from Texas Chicken was crunchy enough, but a little bit too dry and not as succulent and tender, nor having any appetizing aroma as one would expect from a fried piece of meat.
Nonetheless, the side dishes stole the show! The fries are crispy on the outside, but soft and succulent on the inside. They are all well-seasoned where you can eat them straight without the need to dip them into any sauce.
Well, what actually caught my attention was their Honey Butter Biscuits which came together with the meal. The biscuits are fully coated with honey on top, with a warm buttered inside. Simply put, its texture is somewhere between a muffin and a biscuit, and have a palatable buttery flavor that is a little bit salty yet sweet at the same time.
Overall, Texas Chicken was still worth trying and I will go back again to try their honey butter biscuits for sure!
