Jackie Chan and Pierce Bronsnan with the London background

The Foreigner is directed by Martin Campbell and written by David Marconi. The story is based on the 1992 novel, The Chinaman which is written by Stephen Leather.

Jackie Chan as Quan Ngoc Minh whose only daughter, Fan (Katie Leung) died in a terrorist attack. The attack was carried out by a group of Irish splinters who seek revenge against the English government. Quan frequently contacts the police to discover the identity of Fan’s killer. Quan then decides to set his sights on former Irish terrorist turned politician Liam Hennessy (Pierce Brosnan) to get the answer he is seeks. So with that, Quan sets out to find the truth. What will Quan do? Does he find the killer? Watch The Foreigner to find out.

The action scenes for this movie look fantastic and this might seem difficult for a 62-years old actor, Jackie Chan to handle all the action and fighting scenes. Obviously, Jackie Chan proves that age is not a problem for him yet again, handling these dangerous action scenes with grace and finesse.

IMDb rated this movie 7.6 out of 10. Duniaku Network rate this movie 3.9 out of 5.

We can see that most of the audience like this movie and the only downside I see in this movie is the ending. If you haven’t seen it, get to the cinema and find the truth for yourself.

I will rate this movie 8.2 out of 10.
