In Korea, a cosmetic brand emerged as a trend during 2016 due to a simple Christmas video involving KPOP Idols. However, is the hyped W. DRESSROOM perfume as amazing as netizens make it seem?
Bangtan Boys (BTS) held a live broadcast and during their gift exchange, Jungkook received the perfume “W. DRESSROOM No. 97 April Cotton” from fellow member, V. Soon, that particular scent was flying off the shelves around South Korea as well as globally. Netizens found out that more idols used the perfume brand such as SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups and Cube Trainee’s Yoo Seonho who used No. 49 Peach Blossom.
I managed to get my hands on two Dress & Living Clear Perfume by W. DRESSROOM. Introducing No. 45 Morning Rain and No. 49 Peach Blossom!
Morning Rain as the name states is a scent that resembles a morning after the rain. The refreshing perfume is rather weak on intensity with its fresh notes of mandarin, lemon, jasmine, melon, white wood and musk. In my opinion, this unisex scent works best to freshen up the house. Snuggling in bed with this Morning Rain scent on the pillowcase makes the stress from classes fly away.
Peach Blossom on the other hand is an elegant and sweet peach scent that suits more women than men with its moderately intense smell. The perfume is labelled to deliver a refreshing and pure scent, as if you had taken a bite out of a peach. The fruity notes of honey, apple, peach, prune, jasmine, and coconut give off quite a pleasing impression. Beginning my day of classes with this charming Peach Blossom, really makes the difference.
Although both scents don’t last long, W. DRESSROOM’s Morning Rain and Peach Blossom help revitalizes both your clothing and your typical dorm room. It’s not a suitable product for the eau de parfum enthusiast but, I highly recommend this brand to the ones looking for a simple uplifting to their routine.
